Yesterday we kicked off our season as we had 8 of us battle it out in the hot sun at Bothell High School in our 5th annual (in 6 seasons) Mini-Tournament. (thanks Will Millar for the court suggestion). Lots of long grueling tiebreakers (All 10 pt tiebreaks for the whole tourney). After a preliminary round, we had the medal rounds and a consolation bracket. Dhana got hot and won the consolation bracket! Somehow I overcame 2 matches in a row of 45 minutes against Will and then upset Rahber in the final, I was happy…..that the tennis was over frankly 🙂 Thanks guys for the fun event! Victory Points breakdown was: Tom 4, Rahber 3.5, Varun 3, Will 2.5, Dhana 2.5, Boyd 2.0, Eric 1.5, Michael 1.0.
