Unfortunately one of our GB players has tested positive for Covid. The two GB players he had contact with are fully vaccinated, but we do want to let people know. The player will be out for awhile from Golden Ball. Good news is that he only has mild symptoms, and our thoughts are with him! Tennis is a very safe sport, but please remember to vaccinate if you haven’t already and distance when you play.

In other news, The first 2 weeks have gone pretty smooth. Tons of 2 set matches! There has not been ONE third set tiebreak. Lots of haves and Have nots! Please look for the (late) Golden Ball preview and outlook this weekend from the Commissioner and his team of professional writers 😉

Finally, Arun was added to our lineup. He won’t be available for playoffs. He is a special “Challenge” players. Schedules WON’T change for anyone. If you want to play one of your 3 challenge matches before end of July, Arun is available from now through July 4. He will be playing up to 8 matches, so just reach out to him if you have a bye OR you want an extra match. Thanks
